Can I just walk in for consultation or do I need to make an appointment?

Can I just walk in for consultation or do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, you will need to make an appointment in advance by calling us at 03-77333912 in order to book your consultation with our physiotherapists. You can schedule your following sessions with our receptionist as required. Walk-in clients will not be guaranteed a session for consultation as our schedule can be quite full at times.

How long does the consultation take?

The consultation duration normally ranges from 45 minutes to 1 hour. The therapist will mainly assess your condition thoroughly and will advise you according to your current state.

Please dress in loose outfits as we may need you to expose certain body areas in order to assess your condition effectively. The consultation will be carried out in a private room.

Physiotherapists are allied health professionals who have undergone Diploma or Degree programme in Physiotherapy. We work closely with surgeons or GPs to ensure adequate treatment and to assist recovery in patients.

Where is the most convenient parking area?

We have only one centre at the moment located at Taman Tun Dr Ismail. We are located in a plaza next to TTDI MRT station. You can search for D'smart Centre on Waze application.

We have reserved parking lots available for D'smart clients at Basement 1 of TTDI Plaza. Otherwise, there are usually ample parking lots at Basement 2 during non peak hours. Clients are advised to arrive early to search for parking and avoid being late for scheduled appointment.

Do I need a referral letter from a doctor before visiting the centre?

Are the physiotherapists qualified to carry out treatment on patients?

If you are referred by a surgeon or general physician, please bring along the referral letter for us to understand better your problem. If you have not seen any doctor, you can still visit us for a consultation to get your condition assessed professionally.

Our physiotherapists are qualified graduates from various recognised universities (Mahsa University, INTI International University, Manipal University etc).

We offer Dry Needling treatment by certified therapist to reduce pain and tension caused by trigger points in the body. It is, however, different from Chinese acupuncture as we insert needles only on trigger points, not on meridian points.
